Marie Elise McCord

Born and raised in Switzerland by lake Geneva. Marie Elise McCord is a Swiss-American singer/musician - without nearly as much experience and capacities as she still wishes to acquire. She lives with a deep curiosity for life, and wants to learn everything about its particularities, its beauty, and arts. However, her greatest passion remains to be able to reach out to, to share and impact people with whatever she has to offer, whether it be on stage as a singer/musician or in a school as a teacher.​

Her first childhood memory was of wanting to play violin. She was four years old then, but had to wait another two years before starting to learn with the SUZUKI method. Later as a teenager, She started singing lessons, followed by piano lessons, music theory, musical theater lessons - Conveying emotions was her driving force, 

She then studied at la Haute École de musique de Lausanne (Generalist musician/choir director/school teacher) with her main discipline being violin and voice, studied both during her bachelor's in classical field and master's in jazz.
